Springophone

The first Archil Lab instrument is the Springophone, an instrument made of tuned springs you can pluck, carress, pull, hit, eat... There are 2 octaves of springs set up like the keys of a keyboard, with which you can play melodies and chords. The sound is then picked up by contact microphones and goes into several stereo effects you can control with the pots on top of the machine: freeze, distortion, highpass and lowpass filters, delay, reverb... There are stereo audio inputs, so you can also use the effects on a guitar a synth or some other instrument.
